U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in Arizona on Friday, aiming to strengthen her White House bid and counter Republican candidate Donald Trump's influence in the West. Harris’ tour, after naming Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, targeted seven critical states ahead of the Nov. 5 election.

In Phoenix, Harris connected with volunteers and spoke to voters, receiving the endorsement of LULAC Adelante, marking the group's first-ever presidential endorsement. Meanwhile, Trump held a rally in Montana, despite his flight being diverted due to mechanical issues. He expressed support for U.S. Senate candidate Tim Sheehy.

Harris addressed a crowd of over 15,000 in Phoenix, which included pro-Palestinian demonstrators. Despite interruptions, she emphasized her commitment to achieving a ceasefire and bringing hostages home. Both Harris and Trump are focusing on key battleground states, with Trump investing heavily in advertising in Georgia.
