'Due to your valuable managerial experiences, I appoint you vice president and head of the Atomic Energy Organisation,' President Masoud Pezeshkian said in his appointment announcement carried by state media.

The decision comes as part of a strategic move to leverage Eslami's extensive experience in the nuclear sector.
