Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has alleged that senior leaders, including Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, and Anil Deshmukh, conspired to have him arrested in the Urban Land Ceiling case. Singh stated that a senior police official received direct instructions from these leaders to implicate him and other BJP figures.

In an exclusive interview with ANI, Singh dismissed the accusations made by former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh as baseless. He expressed his willingness to undergo a narco test alongside Deshmukh to prove his innocence. Singh highlighted that false cases were registered against him and attempts were made to arrest him, as well as BJP leaders Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde.

Singh also revealed that he faced pressure to falsely implicate BJP leader Pravin Darekar in the Mumbai Bank case. He asserted that his complaints against Deshmukh, which exposed corruption and extortion, were neither politically motivated nor influenced by others. Singh criticized the lack of response to his complaints and noted that only after a CBI investigation were charges upheld against Deshmukh.
