Congress Amplifies Agitation Over JPC Probe, Caste Census & Constitution Adherence

The Congress announced Tuesday it will mobilize public campaigns demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Adani issue, a caste census, and adherence to the Constitution. This decision follows an important meeting focused on the party's preparations for upcoming assembly polls.

In light of allegations from Hindenburg, the opposition also plans a nationwide agitation on August 22, advocating for the resignation of SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch and a JPC investigation into the Adani accusations.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, alongside senior leaders like Rahul Gandhi, discussed key electoral strategies at the AICC headquarters, expressing concerns over various national and economic issues.
