Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole on Wednesday announced that the Opposition's Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance will decide on their chief minister after the upcoming assembly elections.
Patole accused the BJP-led Mahayuti government of mortgaging Maharashtra's prosperity to Gujarat. He emphasized the state's growth under initial leaders like Yashwantrao Chavan compared to its current state.
When asked about the alliance's CM candidate, Patole stated that the Congress, along with its allies NCP-SP and Shiv Sena-UBT, would make a collective decision post-elections and preferred not to discuss it prematurely.
