RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has raised concerns over increasing violence against the Hindu community in Bangladesh, attributing it to unjustified attacks. Speaking during the Independence Day celebrations at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters, Bhagwat emphasized India's moral duty to safeguard these vulnerable communities and ensure they do not suffer from injustices and atrocities.

Highlighting India's historical tendency to offer assistance rather than aggression, Bhagwat said, "India has always helped those in distress irrespective of their behavior towards us. In this scenario, our nation must remain vigilant and strive to aid other countries while ensuring our safety." His remarks underscore India's larger role in maintaining regional stability amidst the ongoing turmoil in Bangladesh.

Violence against the Hindu minority has reportedly surged since the recent political upheaval following Sheikh Hasina's resignation. The Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance reported 278 targeted attacks across 48 districts. A UN team is set to investigate these incidents, which have drawn international attention and calls for immediate action.
