Prominent figures like Rajya Sabha member Digvijaya Singh, state unit president Jitu Patwari, and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar participated in the demonstration. They submitted a memorandum to the sub-divisional magistrate, alleging rampant corruption and a worsening law and order situation under the watch of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Singh lambasted city contractors for deceiving the public and highlighted rising atrocities against Dalits and tribals under BJP rule. Patwari questioned if the state was run by a mafia, citing unfair contract allocations. Singhar accused the chief minister of neglecting the state's people, warning of larger protests if conditions don't improve.
