Nishad Party to Field Candidates in UP By-Elections

The Nishad Party, in alliance with the BJP-led NDA, revealed on Friday its plans to field candidates for the upcoming by-elections in Majhawan and Katehari Assembly seats, Uttar Pradesh.
This announcement came during the party’s ninth Foundation Day celebrations held in Lucknow, where party president and Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Minister Sanjay Nishad confirmed their participation using the party symbol.
Nishad urged party workers to support the NDA in the forthcoming elections, emphasizing its commitment to addressing issues like reservation for the Majhwar community. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Harish Chandra Srivastava stated that the NDA leadership has yet to finalize candidate allocations.
