APSCC to Contest J&K Assembly Polls from Three Key Seats

The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) will contest assembly polls from three seats in Jammu and Kashmir, it announced on Monday.

APSCC stated S Pushvinder Singh will run from Tral in Pulwama district, with candidates for Central Shalteng in Srinagar and Baramulla to be disclosed later.

Jagmohan Singh Raina, APSCC chairman, urged the majority community to support the Sikh candidates, aiming to reinforce communal harmony and challenge the narrative of separatism in Kashmir. The 90-member assembly polls will occur over three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1, with results announced on October 4.
