China Condemns Pakistan Attacks, Vows Continued Support

China has condemned recent attacks in Pakistan and pledged continued support for the country’s anti-terrorism efforts. These attacks are the most widespread in years by ethnic militants seeking secession for a southwestern province that hosts significant China-led infrastructure projects.

China has strongly condemned the recent attacks in Pakistan and reiterated its commitment to supporting the country's anti-terrorism actions, a spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry said during a regular press briefing on Tuesday.

The recent spate of attacks in Pakistan, which are the most widespread in years, were carried out by ethnic militants engaged in a decades-long insurgency to achieve secession for a resource-rich southwestern province. This region is home to major China-led projects, including a port and a gold and copper mine.
