U.S. President Joe Biden is set to approve an additional $250 million in security assistance for Ukraine, as announced by U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin during talks in Germany on Friday.
“It will surge in more capabilities to meet Ukraine’s evolving requirements. And we’ll deliver them at the speed of war,” Austin stated.
This development comes at a critical time for Ukrainian forces. They are advancing into Russia's Kursk region while facing threats from Russian forces in the eastern Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk.
