Himachal Pradesh Assembly Extends Monsoon Session

The monsoon session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, initially set to end on September 9, has been extended by a day to September 10. The extension motion, presented by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, gained the support of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Opposition Leader Jai Ram Thakur.

The Himachal Pradesh Assembly's ongoing monsoon session, originally scheduled to conclude on September 9, has been extended to September 10.

The motion for the session's extension was proposed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan and subsequently adopted by the House.

Notably, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur expressed their support for the motion.
