Congress Reveals 31 Candidates for Haryana Assembly Polls

The Congress has released its first list of 31 candidates for the Haryana Assembly polls, with notable figures like former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and wrestler Vinesh Phogat. The party is also engaged in intense seat-sharing talks with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), though an alliance appears unlikely.

The Congress on Friday unveiled its initial list of 31 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, featuring prominent names such as former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, state unit chief Udai Bhan, and renowned wrestler Vinesh Phogat.

The announcement followed a Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting attended by several key figures, including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former party chief Sonia Gandhi.

Despite complex seat-sharing negotiations with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), a potential alliance between the two parties seems improbable due to internal opposition within the Congress.
