Thackeray Criticizes Shinde Government's Industry Policy

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray criticized the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government for its 'anti-Maharashtra' industry policy. He claimed the state government has avoided organizing investor summits and alleged partiality towards Gujarat. He also questioned the recent Maharashtra Pollution Control Board's actions on Mercedes Benz, labeling them as 'bullying tactics.'

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has accused the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government of having an 'anti-Maharashtra' industry policy.

Thackeray claimed that the government has failed to organize the 'Magnetic Maharashtra' investor summit since taking office. He also criticized Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal for not promoting Maharashtra adequately at the recent Global Fintech Festival in Mumbai, favoring Gujarat's GIFT City.

The opposition MLA alleged that the current Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP government is undermining Maharashtra's industrial and financial pride. Additionally, he raised concerns about a recent Maharashtra Pollution Control Board raid on Mercedes Benz's Pune unit, accusing the board's chairman of unethical practices driven by ego.
