Russia Firmly Rejects Erdogan's Call for Crimea's Return

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov firmly rejected Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan's recent remarks advocating the return of Crimea to Ukraine, made on Friday.
Erdogan reiterated Turkish support for Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence, emphasizing that Crimea's return is required under international law.
Expressing a clear point of disagreement with Turkey, Peskov noted that Russia will continue to explain its stance to Turkish counterparts. Russia took control of Crimea from Ukraine and annexed the region in 2014.
