Atishi is set to lead the new Delhi Cabinet while retaining all current ministers, according to AAP sources. Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Imran Hussain are confirmed to continue in their roles.
MLAs Vishesh Ravi or Kuldeep Kumar may join the cabinet to fill existing vacancies as Delhi approaches crucial Assembly polls. Atishi's leadership marks a significant shift in the capital's political landscape.
Outgoing Chief Minister Kejriwal has resigned and requested the Lt Governor to consider Atishi for the role. September 21 has been proposed for the swearing-in ceremony, setting the stage for the new cabinet's brief but pivotal tenure.
