Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai has launched a veiled attack on the ruling DMK, focusing on the elevation of Udhayanidhi Stalin to Deputy Chief Minister.
In a post on 'X', Annamalai claimed, ''The Sun shines for the privileged few & an eclipse for the rest of the state for the last 40 months. People have now understood what the term 'Vidiyal' actually meant: Vidiyal for self, family, and the chieftains.'' The term 'Vidiyal' was part of the DMK's 2021 campaign, symbolizing a new dawn.
Additionally, Annamalai shared a meme accusing the DMK of rising nepotism, featuring photos of various leaders, including Udhayanidhi Stalin from prominent political families.
