An Israeli airstrike on central Beirut has leveled an apartment building following a series of attacks across Lebanon and Gaza, resulting in substantial casualties.
The early Monday strike marked the first time in nearly a year that central Beirut was hit. Videos captured the aftermath, showing ambulances and crowds gathering in the affected Sunni district.
Simultaneously, an airstrike in Gaza killed a family of four, showing the ongoing toll on civilians. The conflict, which started on October 7, has claimed many lives, including Hezbollah and Hamas leaders.
Lebanese and Palestinian officials report rising death tolls, with Israeli strikes hitting both militant and civilian areas. The Lebanese Health Ministry noted over 105 deaths on Sunday alone.
Recent satellite images revealed the site of the Israeli airstrike that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in southern Beirut's Dahiyeh suburb.
