Hezbollah has adamantly denied claims that Israeli troops have entered Lebanon, vowing to engage in direct confrontation if any such action takes place.

In its first official response following Israel's announcement of ground operations, Hezbollah spokesman Mohammed Afifi dismissed reports of Israeli incursion as baseless.
