'As a woman in a responsible position, your comments and accusations against our family are completely irrelevant and false,' Nagarjuna noted in a social media post.

The BRS has labeled Surekha's remarks as 'cheap and disgusting', asserting that the accusations would be addressed through legal and political channels. They criticized the Congress party for failing to uphold constitutional values. Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has yet to respond to the allegations.
