Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini engaged in discussions with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday to strategize Haryana's future path, following the BJP's remarkable third consecutive victory in the state Assembly elections. The BJP secured 48 out of 90 seats, ensuring the party's continued governance for a third term, while the Congress claimed 37 seats.

In a post on X, Saini expressed, "On BJP's historic victory in Haryana, I had a courtesy meeting with senior leader and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah ji in New Delhi today. We discussed Haryana's future strategy and many important state-related issues. HM Shah thanked the dedicated workers of the state for the victory and lauded the welfare schemes introduced during the BJP's 10-year administration. He provided valuable guidance on transforming Haryana into a developed state, embodying the spirit of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas,'" Saini added.

Furthermore, CM Saini extended a courtesy visit to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Vice President Enclave, where the two exchanged sweets and engaged in discussions. Earlier, Saini had attributed the election success to Prime Minister Modi's leadership after a meeting, acknowledging, "The huge victory is credited to PM Modi's impactful policies and schemes over the past decade that have benefited various sectors, including the poor, farmers, youth, and women. This triumph reflects the people's love and support for PM Modi. I express my gratitude to the people of Haryana and the party workers…" The BJP's victory ensures its third consecutive governance in Haryana, winning 48 seats against the Congress's 37, as per Tuesday's announced results.
