Addressing reporters in Srinagar, Abdullah stressed that Kashmir would not become a part of Pakistan and emphasized the importance of allowing Jammu and Kashmir's citizens to live with dignity and prosper.
Abdullah questioned the logic behind the attack, which claimed the lives of immigrant laborers and a doctor, lamenting that such violence only prolongs suffering. He called for an end to terrorism, warning of severe consequences if innocent lives continue to be lost.
The attack occurred at a construction site in Gagangir, resulting in the deaths of a doctor and six construction workers. In response, security forces launched a search operation in Gaganger, Sonamarg, and Ganderbal to track down the perpetrators.
