Congress leader Captain Ajay Singh Yadav has raised significant concerns regarding the under-representation of Other Backward Classes (OBC) within the party's Haryana unit and its top decision-making bodies. During a press conference, Yadav criticized AICC State In-charge Deepak Babaria for the party's poor performance in the assembly elections.

Despite an initial intention to resign, Yadav reaffirmed his lifelong commitment to the Congress, rejecting a proposition from the BJP after the elections. Stating his family's seven-decade-long association with Congress, Yadav emphasized his dedication to strengthening the party under Sonia Gandhi's leadership.

Yadav lamented the lack of OBC representation in crucial party forums such as the Congress Working Committee and Central Election Committee. He pointed out Haryana's Congress failures in social engineering compared to the BJP's better OBC representation, citing specific OBC leaders holding significant positions.
