The Jan Suraaj Party, under the leadership of Prashant Kishor, has officially declared Sushil Kushwaha as its contender for the upcoming Ramgarh assembly by-election in Bihar.
This declaration was made during a press conference held by Kishor in Kaimur district, highlighting Kushwaha's background as a former BSP leader and a previous Lok Sabha candidate from Buxar, part of the Ramgarh assembly segment.
The by-election in Ramgarh follows the election of RJD MLA Sudhakar Singh to the Lok Sabha. Scheduled for November 13, the bypolls coincide with elections in Tarari, Belaganj, and Imamganj, with results set to be announced on November 23.
