With the Maharashtra assembly elections fast approaching, Milind Deora, a Rajya Sabha MP and Shiv Sena candidate for the Worli Assembly seat, expressed his commitment to serving the electorate. Deora has reaffirmed his mission to deliver justice to the voters, categorizing his campaign as a political battle rather than a personal one. He filed his nomination on Tuesday, positioning himself against incumbent MLA Aaditya Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT).
Deora expressed disappointment over Thackeray's tenure, highlighting unmet expectations during his five-year term. He criticized what he called a "fake narrative" against the government and praised Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's efforts to address public issues. As the Shiv Sena candidate, Deora emphasized his commitment to representing the diverse community of Worli, voicing their concerns to Chief Minister Shinde. The upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with counting on November 23.
