Heavy security arrangements made as PM Modi embarks election campaign in UP

Elaborate security arrangements have been made at the Kothi Meena Bazar ground for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election rally here on Wednesday. District authorities said Modi will fly to Agra from Bidar in Karnataka and reach the rally ground around 3.15 p.m.
Ten companies of paramilitary forces and 4,000 policemen will provide the security cover. BJP leaders said they expected more than two lakh people to attend the rally which will kickstart the party's election campaign in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from setting the agenda for the Lok Sabha polls, the Prime Minister is likely to launch a dozen development projects for Agra, in particular, open the Gangajal pipeline project for thirsty Agra.
