Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, sharply criticized the JMM-led coalition in Jharkhand, accusing it of exacerbating infiltration issues in the state. During a poll rally at Godda, he alleged that the coalition was patronizing infiltrators at the cost of the state's land, forest, and water resources.
Modi denounced the Abua Awas housing scheme as a 'fake' initiative replacing the PM Awas Yojana, and claimed it was designed for 'cut money and commissions.' He also highlighted the coalition's contribution to 'mafia raj' and stunted development, leading to migration and unemployment.
The Prime Minister promised to expose those who have compromised the future of Jharkhand's children. Modi criticized the Congress for nominating Nishat Alam, wife of jailed leader Alamgir Alam, in a continuing money laundering investigation involving financial irregularities and over Rs 32 crore recovered.
