Kremlin Critiques G7's Global Influence

The Kremlin has stated that the Group of Seven (G7) nations have lost influence by no longer representing the fastest-growing global economies. Reflecting on President Trump's suggestion to reinstate Russia into the G7, Kremlin's Dmitry Peskov noted that Russia prioritizes collaboration with the G20, which better aligns with global economic growth trends.

The Kremlin criticized the Group of Seven (G7) nations, highlighting that their influence has diminished as they no longer represent the fastest-growing economies globally.

This statement followed U.S. President Donald Trump's proposal that Russia should rejoin the G7, citing its previous removal as a mistake.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russia now prefers to engage with the Group of 20 (G20), which he claims is more representative of the current global economic dynamics and growth hubs.
