Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed gratitude while meeting supporters on Friday after the Delhi government sanctioned the Ayushman Bharat scheme, previously blocked by AAP, during her inaugural cabinet meeting. Gupta further mentioned addressing other significant topics in forthcoming cabinet discussions.

Speaking to reporters, the new Chief Minister announced, "Yesterday, our cabinet approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which had been impeded by the AAP. The initiative will soon be accessible to the public." Additionally, Gupta revealed plans for discussions with PWD and Jal Board officials to address infrastructure issues like potholes. Supporters, bearing garlands and flower bouquets, thronged outside her residence in Shalimar Bagh to congratulate her.

Rekha Gupta, the ninth Chief Minister of Delhi and the second woman BJP CM, was sworn in during a grand ceremony at Ramlila Maidan. Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena administered the oath of office to Gupta and her cabinet members, including Parvesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and others.
