Amit Palekar, president of Goa's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), faced police questioning for the third time, following controversial videos by land grab accused Siddiqui Suleman Khan. Khan alleged police facilitation in his escape, naming Palekar as having coerced the recording of his claims.

Palekar, accompanied by fellow AAP member Cruz Silva, decried the investigation as political vendetta. He questioned the selective targeting by police, who have not pursued claims against others mentioned by Khan, including a senior police officer and a BJP MLA.

The police warned of possible arrest under BNSS 2023 if non-compliance continued. Meanwhile, constable Amit Naik faces charges related to Khan's escape from custody. The legal and political ramifications in this case continue to unfold, highlighting tensions between political parties and law enforcement.
