Mahayuti’s Historic Win Validates Genuine Shiv Sena and NCP: Amit Shah

The Mahayuti coalition's victory in Maharashtra's assembly elections signals public support for the authentic Shiv Sena and NCP, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The coalition secured 230 of 288 seats, following splits within the parties, each aligning with the BJP-led Mahayuti and Congress-led alliances.

Sanjay Shah, at a ceremony disbursing funds to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to Maharashtra's people for endorsing the new government. He emphasized the public's clear decision on the genuine factions within the Shiv Sena and NCP.

With the NDA's third-term victory, PM Modi launched PMAY's second phase, aiding 20 lakh families with housing. Maharashtra leads with the highest beneficiaries under the scheme, marking a significant socio-economic upliftment. By 2029, the scheme aims to provide five crore homes nationwide, boosting infrastructure development.
