This declaration comes as the state plans an all-party meet on March 5 to discuss significant issues stemming from Lok Sabha delimitation, where Tamil Nadu now faces the possibility of losing eight seats due to its successful family planning initiatives.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of political unity in addressing these pressing challenges, highlighting the need for sufficient representation in Parliament to voice concerns on the National Education Policy, NEET, and central fund allocations. Stalin highlighted the stakes involved as the delimitation may lead to a reduction in Tamil Nadu's parliamentary strength from 39 to 31 seats, potentially curtailing the state's legislative influence.

Stalin articulated concerns over the perceived 'imposition' of Hindi by the BJP-led NDA government, arguing that Tamil Nadu has always favored Tamil and English. The ruling DMK party has ardently criticized the three-language policy. The meeting aims to unify political parties in ensuring the state's interests are unequivocally represented and safeguarded.
