Controversy Surrounds Karnataka CM Despite Lokayukta's Clean Chit

BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar has expressed skepticism over Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's alleged innocence in the MUDA land allotment case, despite the Lokayukta giving a clean chit. Chandrasekhar argues that the investigation fails to dismiss irregularities and only points to officers' culpability.

The opposition leader accuses Siddaramaiah and his family of deriving undue benefits from the land allocations, claiming the allotment was improper and illegal. He emphasized that the involvement of Siddaramaiah's family is commonly known and that the Congress party, to which Siddaramaiah belongs, is deeply implicated in such scams.

Chandrasekhar further criticized a Congress MP, previously an officer in the Lokayukta, for alleged involvement in the scandals. Despite the Lokayukta's findings, Karnataka's ruling party and its CM continue to face allegations of corruption, with demands for a thorough investigation by central bodies.
