The Lok Sabha is gearing up for an intensive discussion session focused on critical legislative topics, including the approval of President's Rule in Manipur. The schedule comes as part of the Business Advisory Committee's recommendations under Speaker Om Birla's chairmanship.
The committee has also managed the legislative timetable to compensate for the cancelled sitting due to the Holi festival. MPs will convene on March 29 to make up for the missed session and ensure all scheduled debates and approvals are accommodated.
Noteworthy agenda items include ten hours slotted for railway discussions, a full day each for Jal Shakti and agricultural grants, and eight hours for deliberating on the finance bill. Additional discussions will be held for the Supplementary and Excess Grants to wrap up the budgetary process for the upcoming fiscal year.
