Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, has strongly criticized the BJP-led administration in Uttar Pradesh for its handling of issues affecting the impoverished and marginalized communities.
Yadav cited multiple incidents, including police brutality and corrupt practices, as evidence of the state's failure to deliver justice. He pointed to a harrowing incident in Chitrakoot where a rickshaw driver's inability to pay a bribe led to his tragic suicide. He emphasized the prevalence of such injustices, noting an alarming rise in suicides among the poor.
Yadav accused the BJP government of harboring criminals and neglecting its citizens, especially farmers, young people, and women. He ended with a call to action, urging the populace to vote out the current regime in the upcoming 2027 elections, framing it as a fight against an oppressive and unjust government.
