In a heated session of the Haryana Assembly on Wednesday, the opposition Congress raised concerns over a verbal altercation between two legislators from the ruling BJP, provoking calls for an investigative committee.
Speaker Harvinder Kalyan responded by stating that the contentious exchange, which took place during Tuesday's discussion on the Governor's address, had already been expunged from official records.
Nonetheless, Congress MLA Ashok Arora pushed for a comprehensive probe, arguing that the accusations exchanged were grave. Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and other Congress leaders echoed this demand, urging for a resolution to condemn the behavior.
