In a significant political demonstration, leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) protested at the Ambedkar Statue in Hyderabad on Thursday. The demonstration, led by BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, followed the suspension of BRS MLA Jagadish Reddy by Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar for the entire session. KTR condemned the suspension, calling it a 'blot on democracy.'

KTR addressed the media, criticizing what he termed the unilateral actions of the Congress-led government in Telangana. He accused them of failing to uphold democratic values and demanded an explanation for Reddy's suspension, which he argued was without derogatory cause. BRS leaders protesting were detained by the police, further escalating the political tension.

The controversy deepened with KTR's sharp critique of the 15-month-old Revanth Reddy government, labeling it a 'failure.' He cited widespread dissatisfaction among government employees and an unresolved agrarian crisis that has led to over 480 farmer suicides. KTR accused the government of corruption, prioritizing personal gain over public welfare, and lacking progressive policies, intensifying the party's allegations against the ruling administration.
