An aircraft carrying Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had to make an emergency landing at Agra airport shortly after taking off due to a technical snag, officials confirmed.
The chief minister was set to fly to Lucknow but faced over a two-hour delay before resuming his journey. This incident occurred after Adityanath's participation in a public event marking the eighth anniversary of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh.
During the event, Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 128 projects worth Rs 635.22 crore, and highlighted the addition of metro services to Agra, declaring it a metro city. He criticized previous governments for failing to offer these amenities.
