Karnataka's state government has taken immediate steps to heighten security in response to Central advisories amid escalating tensions with Pakistan. Home Minister G Parameshwara emphasized the protection of critical infrastructure such as dams and industries.
Praising 'Operation Sindoor', which targeted terror camps in Pakistan and PoK, Parameshwara reiterated the Congress party's support for the government's defense policies, noting the importance of a unified national stance on security issues.
The minister confirmed that security advisories from the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Home Affairs are being enacted. Police and security forces have been on alert, ensuring thorough protection of important sites as part of a comprehensive civil defense initiative.
