Estranged Cousins Unite for Marathi Pride: Thackeray Rally Signals Political Shift

Uddhav and Raj Thackeray come together for a 'victory' rally celebrating the rollback of Maharashtra's contentious three-language policy. This marks a significant political event, emphasizing Marathi pride. The Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS show unity in opposing the introduction of Hindi in state schools, highlighting their mutual heritage and political strategy.

For the first time in two decades, Uddhav and Raj Thackeray will share the stage at a rally organized by the Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS to celebrate the reversal of Maharashtra's three-language policy.

This 'Marathi Vijay Diwas' event, devoid of party symbols, emphasizes unity over shared cultural identity in a politically strategic move.

With upcoming civic elections, this joint demonstration of Marathi pride and resistance to Hindi imposition signals a possible alliance and shift in state politics.
