Ganesh Dutt Bharwal, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly from Chintpurni, has passed away in Hamboli, Amb at the age of 80.

Bharwal, whose political career began with his election to the state assembly in 1985, died on Sunday as confirmed by an official statement.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his condolences, stating that Bharwal's significant contributions to the development of the Chintpurni area will be long remembered by its residents.
