KCR Charges Congress with Favoring Neighbors Over Telangana Farmers

K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has accused Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of prioritizing the interests of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over the welfare of Telangana's farmers.
Following a closed-door meeting with party officials, KCR urged party members to orchestrate protests against the Congress-led government. The discussions centered on protective measures for farmers and efforts to highlight the shortcomings of the Congress administration.
KCR further challenged the controversial Polavaram-Banakacharla link project proposed by Andhra Pradesh, claiming it was detrimental to Telangana's interests. At the gathering, prominent figures such as BRS Working President K T Rama Rao were present.
