On Wednesday, the Economic Offences Unit of Bihar Police interrogated former RJD MLA Bima Bharti regarding her involvement in an alleged horse-trading incident reported in February 2024.

Bima Bharti was questioned for a prolonged period of four hours, though the EOU noted her inability to provide satisfactory answers to key questions.

The case involves serious allegations of bribery ahead of a pivotal trust vote, with further summonses issued to other individuals involved.
