Maharashtra's political landscape was shaken on Friday as a bar license connected to Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam's family was relinquished, according to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anil Parab. He asserted that this act is an 'admission of guilt' and urged for Kadam's removal from office.
Parab, speaking at a press conference, emphasized that surrendering the license does not exonerate Kadam from allegations that his family operated a dance bar. The minister has yet to comment on these claims.
This incident highlights the ongoing rivalry between Parab and Kadam, rooted in historical political conflicts within the Shiv Sena. Parab alleges that the bar was subject to police raids in recent years, adding further complexity to the controversy.
