Controversy in Delhi Assembly over Operation Sindoor

AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha faced expulsion from the Delhi Assembly session on Monday following his refusal to apologize for controversial remarks made during a discussion on Operation Sindoor. The heated session saw the Speaker order Jha marshalled out as tensions rose.

Delhi Home Minister Ashish Sood defended the operations, stating that they embody a new approach against terrorism, where decisive military action replaces conventional diplomatic measures such as dossiers. Sood even suggested sedition charges for those opposing the operations.

Jha, standing firm in his criticism, accused the Centre of succumbing to international pressure, citing US President Trump's role in the ceasefire decision. The BJP members, however, lauded Prime Minister Modi for the military actions that target terrorism decisively.
