Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, on Tuesday, took a strong stance against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of using his 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' to mislead the public. The yatra, spanning 1,300 kilometers across over 20 districts in Bihar, aims to address what Gandhi alleges as 'vote chori' or vote theft.
Saha, speaking at a blood donation camp organized by the BJP's legal cell in Tripura, dismissed Gandhi's protest as baseless. He stated that the Election Commission had received no substantial evidence from the Congress regarding electoral fraud during the elections.
The Chief Minister further critiqued Gandhi by recalling the allegations of widespread corruption during the UPA tenure, suggesting the hypocrisy in Gandhi's current accusations. Saha emphasized that the public would not be swayed by what he considers unfounded claims.
