The White House announced on Tuesday that the United States is ready to assist in coordinating security guarantees for Ukraine. President Donald Trump has ordered his national security team to collaborate closely with Europe in this endeavor.
During a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized that US military forces will not be deployed on the ground in Ukraine. However, she noted that the US can facilitate coordination and possibly provide alternative security assurances to European allies.
This move aims to reinforce security in the region without direct US military involvement, reflecting a strategy of support through regional partnerships.
