Lorho S Pfoze, a former Member of Parliament from Manipur, officially joined Meghalaya's ruling National People's Party (NPP) on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma welcomed Pfoze, highlighting his extensive experience in public life, which they believe will be instrumental in bolstering the party's objectives, especially in the Northeastern region.
Pfoze, valued for his transparency and honesty, plans to utilize NPP to address the needs of indigenous and tribal communities, echoing the vision of NPP founder PA Sangma.
