In a dramatic turn of events, Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam has made explosive allegations about the aftermath of the death of party founder Bal Thackeray, igniting a political firestorm. Kadam claimed that Thackeray's body was held at his home, Matoshree, for two days after his demise in November 2012.
Addressing a Dussehra rally in Mumbai, Kadam aimed his accusations squarely at Uddhav Thackeray, the son of the late leader and current chief of the rival Shiv Sena (UBT). Sanjay Raut, a prominent figure in Shiv Sena (UBT), responded by labeling these statements as a betrayal of Bal Thackeray's legacy.
Despite backlash from his political adversaries, Kadam stood his ground, calling for a narco-analysis test to support his claims. This incident adds to the escalating tension between the ruling Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray's faction.
