As Bihar prepares for the 2025 Assembly elections, Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha underscored the challenges faced by the opposition Mahagathbandhan in finalizing their seat-sharing arrangements. He announced that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will begin his election campaign on Thursday, signaling readiness from the National Democratic Alliance.

During a press briefing in Patna, Jha declared, "Our first list of candidates will be out this afternoon. CM Nitish Kumar, after meticulous evaluation, will start his campaign tomorrow." The second list is expected within days. Meanwhile, internal disputes in the Mahagathbandhan linger, with the NDA clarifying its unified stance under Kumar's leadership.

The JDU leader also dismissed allegations of discord within his party, asserting, "There are no issues within the JDU. Nitish Kumar is a democratic leader and has consented to all decisions." As the opposition parties reportedly spread rumors regarding NDA's cohesion, RJD's Tiwari hinted at visible internal rifts within the alliance.
